THREE DAY ROAD TRAILER ADAPTATION
With the book Three Day Road lacking a film adaptation, it was our duty to create one, as proposed by our English teacher at the time. With minimal budget and filmed in two days, my group created a semi-serious trailer of the famed book. Our efforts received a standing ovation within the English class, causing us to win the Best Film Award, given to us by our teacher. Although the editing was not up to my standards, I was able to improve considerably within a short amount of time. The film below this trailer definitely outshines and contrasts the one above.

Biology - CRISPR/Cas9 Mediated Genome Engineering
During Grade 11 biology me and my group were tasked to research and present a scientific paper of our choice that relates towards the environment, society, and how it can be used as a business model. With CRISPR being one of the most well known medical topics at this time, we decided to shed some light on it and provide some insight of the so called "miracle method." Through our findings, it is apparent that mediated genome engineering is able to cure/reverse certain diseases, such as muscular dystrophy, even those that are deemed as incurable. Although many governments refuse such treatments (moral issues), along with the lack of advanced technology, scientists were able to observe success in treating organisms. With many questions based on moral and ethics surrounding this topic, it is however, without doubt, that CRISPR/Cas9 mediated genome engineering will be able to save countless of lives, humans included.
Programming - Creating a Learning Game
The Prized Coding - Computer Programming
The Prized Coding was a game designed by me and a friend, with it's intentions being for users to learn more about computer parts and its uses. Created using java, and with over 1000 lines of coding, we were able to create a small quiz, along with a learn section, that essentially tests the user's knowledge of computer parts. This game is great for beginners who are trying to learn a little bit more about computer engineering, and at a fast pace. Throughout the process of creating the game, my organization skills have significantly improved due to the way java works from reading up to down. This is essential, since most programmers will have to code along with others, thus organizing your coding and files can lead to a less stressful and easier time with your co workers.
The file below contains the coding for the actual game. To play, IntelliJ, or anything of the sort, must be used to run the .java file within the src folder.

A Story of War and Change - Analysis
A Story of War and Change is a short account by Reza Kiarash during his time within battle as a medic. As the story nears the end, Reza begins to notice that not one person had enough courage to help one another, other than himself. Only a single digit amount of soldiers, including Reza, were able to survive the battle, outlining the soldiers' futile cowardice. The presentation above is a photo essay analyzing how Reza Kiarash is an examplar in showing bravery, courage, and justice when given the smallest chance.
